Minister Rifi launches new draft law on terrorism crimes

Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi declared Friday the finalization of a draft law pertaining to the establishment of judicial apparatuses specialized with handling terrorism and other major crimes.

During a press conference, Rifi stressed that all developed nations have annulled the concept of exceptional courts, noting that the announcement of the new draft law encourages all factions to deploy further efforts towards achieving justice.

In this context, Rifi said that the new draft law contains 14 articles, adding that he will present it to the cabinet for approval and referral to the parliament for subsequent ratification.
