State Minister for Administrative Development Affairs Nabil De Freij stated on Saturday that Defense Minister Samir Moqbel’s decision to extend General Jean Kahwagi as well as Major General Walid Salman and Major General Mohammad Kheir’s mandates does not eliminate the possibility of reaching consensus.
Minister De Freij told LBCI’s Nharkom Said that administrative appointments should not be based upon political affiliations, adding that imposing a veto on a certain military official is shameful.
