Patriarch Rai says officials should serve the interests of the Lebanese people

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutos Rai called Friday on all Lebanese officials to elect a new president and hold dialogue sessions in order to serve the better interest of the Lebanese people.

On the occasion of the Assumption of Virgin Mary, Patriarch Rai prayed for officials in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Palestine in order to put an end to the raging wars in the region, stressing that strength is manifested in building peace rather than launching wars.
