Military Prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr halted his investigations into the Riad El-Soleh demonstrations on Monday following the completion of the first draft. Judge Saqr noted that he is now awaiting the conclusion of the investigations of Military Court Judge Hani al-Hajjar. On Friday (August 21), al-Hajjar was tasked with holding accountable all security and military officials involved in attacks against unarmed protesters.
