The Municipality of Antelias has been discarding garbage produced by the region in a dump located in Fowar Antelias, near an old quarry located between al-Rabweh and Bsalim.
The waste, which is dumped without any treatment, poses a direct threat to the large groundwater reserves located in the said area.
