Premier Tammam Salam described Sunday the movements held by the citizens as a reaction for the deterioration of their living conditions, warning that some sides are trying to take advantage of these movements to spread chaos in the country. PM Salam told a visiting delegation from Akkar that “chaos is not a solution and heading towards extremism does not address problems.” He described the current situation as difficult, stressing that all the political differences that paralyzed state institutions will cause the state to collapse. PM Salam lauded Speaker Berri’s call for a national dialogue.
