Civil society activists to hold protest Sunday in al-Naameh

Civil society activists gathered on Friday to discuss the plan proposed to tackle the alarming waste management crisis and to find environmental solutions to it.

They called for a sit-in to be carried out on Sunday (September 27) at 6 pm in al-Naameh to support activists of “al-Naameh landfill closure campaign."

The activists reiterated the need to swiftly remove waste and immediately operate sorting plants across Lebanon.
