The road leading from Riad al-Solh Square to the Banks Street in downtown Beirut (Massaref Street) was blocked on Thursday with concrete blocks to prevent passage, forcing citizens and employees to use chairs to help them cross the barriers.
The crossing process was hardest for pregnant women and women wearing dresses and skirts, according to the video.
