Sources told LBCI that several complaints have been made by Lebanese army and Internal Security Forces personnel for not receiving their salaries as per standard.
In this context, Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil revealed that a number of public sector employees have yet to receive their salaries for the past month, noting that there is a deep shortage of funds mainly related to the payment of salaries related to military institutions.
The minister stressed that “he will not spend one penny illegally.”
