Around 60,000 migrants crossed into Spain's Ceuta enclave in recent surge: Official

Around 60,000 migrants have crossed into Spain's Ceuta enclave from Morocco in the recent surge, the local regional president Juan Jesus Vivas told reporters on Friday.

"Estimates indicate that around 60,000 people have entered our city as a result of this event," he said. "This figure shows that it is impossible to absorb such pressure. It is absolutely impossible."
