Minister Abou Faour says leaders still discuss possibility of Frangieh reaching presidency

Health Minister Wael Abou Faour said on Thursday that “it’s clear that the name of the Marada Movement leader, MP Sleiman Frangieh, is proposed for the presidency,’ however he noted that the possibility is still being discussing.

Frangieh's name for the presidency emerged following his reported meeting with former Prime Minister and Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri in Paris last week. However, officials from both sides have denied that such meeting occurred.
