Prime Minister Tammam Salam praised on Friday the national unity that has been witnessed among the political leaderships since the last explosions that rocked Beirut’s Bourj al-Barajneh, which he said could put an end to the current political crisis.
PM Salam indicated that the national dialogue called for by Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri is the best way to bring the political life back to normal and end the country’s deadlock.
On another note, the premier expressed his support for any rapprochement between the country's political rivals, stressing that any settlement should prioritize the election of a president.
