Future Movement MP Atef Majdalani said Saturday that Hezbollah is groping for any means of defense through the Media while the party is only asked to hand over the four accused in the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and defend them before the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), which is the sole means to acquit the innocent and punish the guilty.
“The government is ridiculously taking contradictory positions”, Majdalani said, urging the Cabinet to resign as soon as possible to spare the minsters and the country “what could be greater”.
As for the electricity draft law, Majdalani said “the plan has “electrocuted” the atmosphere and unveiled hidden agendas”, adding “we want electricity while Aoun and his son-in-law Bassil want the sum of money they requested and we want a secured and guaranteed plan while they want full power with no preconditions.”
