Hezbolalh MP Nawar al-Sahili said Saturday that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) is a trap set to incite sedition in Lebanon, adding the STL does not meet the legal standards for there is no court in the world that endorses trials in absentia or considers the statements of false witnesses.
“All attacks launched by March 14 against the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) should be handled by the Lebanese military judiciary”, al-Sahili said, highlighting the key role that the LAF, Resistance and the Lebanese people play in preserving freedom, sovereignty and independence in Lebanon.
