Lebanese University students will not give up until they get elections

Students at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Information and Documentation-section 2, Fanar, held a sit-in in the university’s yard. The sit-in was organized by students affiliated to the Lebanese Forces, Kataeb and Ahrar to call for the restoration of elections to the Lebanese University.

The Free Patriotic Movement refused to participate in the sit-in in protest of the way the call was launched.

As for the sit-in in the faculty of science, the attendance was low since the students there kind of surrendered.

The protest also expanded to the Faculty of Law and Political Science.

The protest movements ended without clashes but this move will not be the last as most of the political parties stressed that they will not give up.
