Maronite bishops call for a just state that abides by the constitution

The statement issued following the periodic Maronite bishops’ council’s meeting highlighted the importance of rising above narrow interests and building a solid, just state that abides by the constitution.
“As the international community is gearing up to recognize the Palestinian state after 63 years of struggle, Maronite bishops put emphasis on the Palestinian refugees’ right of return enshrined in international resolutions and charters”, the statement added.
