Association of Elementary Education suspends strike

The administrative board of the Association of Elementary Education announced Friday the suspension of its strike scheduled for May 16th.

The decision was taken following a promise made to the Association by the Minister of Education Hassan Diab to maintain legislative unity for all educational sectors in regards to proposed salaries according to law 661/1997, which defines the difference between the starting salary of a secondary professor and the starting salary of an Elementary teacher.
