Saudi Arabia responds: we are keen on our relations with all Lebanese sects

In response to the report published by a local newspapers in Beirut Thursday under the title (why does Riyadh want to transfer Asiri from Lebanon?) the Saudi embassy clarified that Ali Awad Asiri is one of the brightest ambassadors of the kingdom and that his work has been instrumental for the implementation of the wishes of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who stresses on the maintenance of brotherly relations between the kingdom and all the Lebanese people.
The statement stressed that Ambassador Asiri since taking office in Lebanon has been seeking to strengthen the unity of the Lebanese by encouraging officials to place the interest of Lebanon above all others through engaging in dialogue.
