Two UAE military personnel killed after helicopter malfunction: Statement

Two UAE servicemen were killed on Monday after their helicopter crashed because of a "technical malfunction," the defense ministry said, as Iran keeps up its campaign in the Gulf.

"The Ministry of Defense announces the martyrdom of two members of the armed forces following the crash of a helicopter due to a technical malfunction while performing their national duty in the country on Monday," it said in a statement on X.
