Lebanese writer Imad Bazzi banned from entering Egypt
Air traffic control at Cairo’s airport told AFP- France Press- that the Egyptian authorities banned the Lebanese writer Imad Bazzi from entering Egypt and sent him back to Lebanon. The authorities said that Bazzi’s name was included among those banned from entering Egypt.

The center for Media and Cultural Freedom- SKYES- issued a statement saying that Bazzi was possibly banned from entering Egypt after meeting with Egyptian writer Michael Nabil who is working on a documentary about the Egyptian Revolution.

The Egyptian Military Justice sentenced Nabil to 3 years imprisonment after accusing him for insulting the Egyptian armed forces.
