Arslan: Rai stance shows high sense of responsibility

MP Talal Arslan praised Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai’s latest stance taken in Paris.

“Rai’s call to the West to end resettlement shows great wisdom and a high sense of responsibility from a prominent Lebanese figure”, Arslan said in a statement.

“Rai realizes very well that the occupying powers only care about hegemony and not about freeing or civilizing the people”, the statement noted.

“Sounding the war drums in Syria puts Lebanon in the danger zone, jeopardizes all Middle Eastern countries and will lead to disasters”, Arslan added.

Arslan stressed that it is the duty of every wise and patriotic man to positively respond to Rai’s remarks, underscoring the need to stand up to the occupying powers wishing to get their hands on the region’s wealth.
