Aoun: We cannot be moved; they will wither and we shall remain

Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said on Tuesday that there are parties stirring up security incidents in Lebanon to create chaos. He said that the latest security incidents are not only instigated by external parties, but are also the result of foulplay by local parties.

As for the electricity, Aoun said, following his bloc’s weekly meeting in Rabieh, that cutting off roads will not bring about any results, adding that those who are inciting people to block roads are the ones who hindered the funding of the EDL’s projects.

On EDL contract workers, Aoun said that by presenting the project Minister Gibran Bassil prepared, he did the greatest humanitarian act, adding “those who provoked against Minister Bassil have no conscience. “We cannot be moved, they will wither and we shall remain”, Aoun stressed.

The former LAF general added that they will remain steadfast alongside their ministries and are ready for any confrontation.
