Couples feud leads to deadly blast

A feud erupted between an engaged couple Tuesday evening in Lebanon’s Aley Souk leading the man to blow up a hand grenade before Audi Bank in the aforementioned area.

His fiancé was badly injured, sustaining burns to her face and shrapnel’s in her body.

The man, whose hand tore off as a result of the explosion later died. The two were taken to the Heart of Jesus Hostpital where the girl remains in intensive care.

Also in Aley, Said Ibrahim Dleikan was found dead in his home Wednesday morning. According to the coroner the slain citizen’s cause of death is 9 stabs, and has been dead for 12-18 hours.

Security apparatuses immediately arrived at the scene and are conducting necessary investigations.
