Hariri: I will make the call for national unity

MP Bahiya Hariri said on Friday that those who protest and block roads and squares harm themselves and the country, adding that if anyone should choose arms over peace, she will be the one making the call for national unity.

During an honorary ceremony for the relatives of Sheikh Ahmad Abdul Wahed and his companion Sheikh Mohammed Merheb, Hariri confirmed that Akkar is "paying for its nobility, patriotism and Arabism".

Hariri added that the past days have proven the identity of those who sided with the LAF during Nahr al-Bared events.

In turn, MP Khaled Daher said that "those who have placed their lives at the service of their country while defending the freedoms and rights of the Syrian refugees are heroes".

Daher also expressed gratitude to the "great role" played by Saad Hariri in those regards.
