Immigrants from across the world head back home

Lebanese expatriates from across the world return to Lebanon. Some to learn about their home country, some to visit for the first time, and others to meet extended family members.

These expats spent 10 days in Lebanon as part of the eleventh Lebanese Emigrant Youth Camp organized by the Directorate General of Emigrants.
Despite their knowledge of the Lebanese people’s daily struggle, these immigrants envy the people for the “Lebanon they have” and hope the situation ameliorates soon.

The young expats will soon be leaving Lebanon. And although they will certainly miss the “five-star journey”, the Lebanese people “will only aspire to the minimum mean found in their camps”.
