Introduction to the evening news 30-07-2012
In Aleppo, for the third day, offensives are being launched without reaching any progress, despite heavy shelling and the use of air force.
On the EDL level, the one-hundred-day war between the contract workers and the administration ended, leading the administration to leave the building, instead of the workers. Consequently the administration moved to Zouk power plant where it seems like a haven and a safe zone. These events put the situation of the electricity in danger, according to the board of directors.

Regarding the existing war between Rabiyeh and Ain al-Tineh, the FPM’s website leaked information about bills owed by Bassam Tlays which reached 57 bills and worth 15 million LBP, as well as bills owed by Ghassan Ghosn’s inheritors reaching 37 million LBP.

Amid the aforementioned developments, the case of the 11 Lebanese hostages in Syria returned to the forefront. In this context, LBCI revealed that one of the hostages, Abbas Choueib, managed to escape from the kidnappers for a few hours, but they captured him and brought him back.
