Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said Saturday that the Lebanese stance over the Israeli attack has its significance with the enemy, stressing that the Lebanese response in this context is strong and historic.
In a speech he delivered on the opening of Hezbollah’s Ashura council, Nasrallah praised Speaker Nabih Berri’s call on Lebanese Resistance regiments to be in complete readiness, adding that this means that the resistance stands in a firm and united position.
Explaining his last statement, he reiterated that the response to the Israeli attack will come from Lebanon, not necessarily from the Shebaa farms, stressing that the response will be open.
“The first response to the attack on Beirut’s southern suburb must start with a new phase aimed at downing the Israeli drones from Lebanese airspace,” he said, adding that this does not mean that they will down all drones in Lebanon’s skies.
Responding to Netanyahu’s claims that there are precision-missile factories in Lebanon, the Shiite party chief said that “Hezbollah has enough precision-guided missiles in Lebanon for any confrontation with Israel,” denying Israeli claims that the group harbors facilities to build the weapons.
