President Aoun meets Del Col over situation along southern borders
President Michel Aoun met on Friday with UNIFIL Commander Major General Stefano Del Col at the Baabda Presidential Palace.
 
Talks reportedly featured high over the latest developments related to the current situation along the southern borders.
 
later in the day, Del Col met also with Defense Minister Elias Bou Saab with talks touching on the recent Israeli attack on Beirut's southern suburbs and the tensions that occurred along the southern border.

Discussions also covered the results of the Lebanese army's investigation into the attack on the UNIFIL's patrol in the town of Majdel Zoun, and the issue of the railway tunnel in Naqqoura.
