The telecom data case back to the front
The technical security and judicial delegation which left Beirut and headed to France to meet with French judicial and technical experts, ended its meetings and sessions in Paris and reached important conclusions that would turn the controversy back on regarding the case of handing over the telecommunication data.

According to these conclusions expected to be drafted in a detailed report, in France, the “Data Minig” or the search in the telecommunication movements or in the detailed phone bills and all the related data are considered a violation to the French Constitution, and are never handed over under any circumstance. However, in Lebanon the complete opposite has been done.

Also among the conclusions, the French law does not allow handing over all the Data of a specific region, but what can be delivered is a “Donné ciblé” which is the data related to a specific number. However, in Lebanon the complete opposite has been done.

All the reached conclusions are contrary to what happened in the Telecom data in Beirut, especially regarding the case of the assassination attempt targeting MP Boutros Harb.
