Hezbollah chief Nasrallah meets Minister Bassil

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah met yesterday with Free Patriotic Movement leader Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil.

The meeting took place in the presence of Hezbollah Liaison and Coordination Officer Wafiq Safa and tackled the latest local and regional developments, according to the media relations department of Hezbollah.

This as the internal developments dominated much of the lengthy meeting and agreement was reached on necessity to provide economic stability by increasing the state's resources and issuing the 2020 budget, which must include “radical reforms” that will improve the economic and financial reality, as well as reducing the balance of payments deficit and solving the problem of refugees.

The meeting also stressed importance of maintaining political and security stability and activating the parliamentary and governmental work, as well as activating the work of monitoring and anti-corruption institutions.
