Aoun calls for snubbing March 14 in upcoming elections
Head of the Change and Reform Bloc MP Michel Aoun urged supporters to hold onto the doctrines of a "moral revolution."

During an annual dinner function in the Metn, Aoun prescribed the moral revolution as a “panacea to remedy the ills of the Lebanese regime”.

“Such a revolution is bound to restore values to the ruling team; it is a necessary prelude for reforming the community as a whole,” he added.

Commenting on the “Arab Spring”, Aoun predicted that its repercussions would throw Lebanon back into the 14th centuries with the Sharia law dominating Arab countries. He added that U.S-E.U. scheme would leave the Palestinians Lebanon bound. Aoun reiterated the usual accusations leveled against the opposition and the ISF saying they are “all responsible for corruption and decay”.

The general urged supporters and allies to block the empowerment of March 14 adversaries by not reelecting them in the upcoming 2013 elections.
