March 14 opinion on Sleiman's latest positions

After his latest positions on the Syrian violations, President Michel Sleiman is now being revered by the March 14 bloc, which described the president as "a man of honour" and "the president of honesty and boldness".

In this context, MP Boutros Harb said that as a president to the Lebanese state, Sleiman felt chose to declare an official position over abandoning his responsibilities.

Harb told LBCI that the recent events in the region oblige the Lebanese president to express the opinion of the Lebanese people, stressing that he personally feels that the state's authority remains absent.
