Protesters demonstrate in Sidon and Bekaa against “Innocence of Muslims”

Protests against “Innocence of Muslims” film reached Sidon, where residents responded to Hezbollah’s calls and demonstrated outside Al Zahra Mosque.

The Mosque’s Imam urged the demonstrators to boycott American goods as protesters burned US and Israel’s flags while shouting slogans that condemn both countries.

In Ain El-Helwe camp, Palestinians gathered after the Friday prayers and expressed their anger toward the anti-Muslim film, bearing slogans against the US and Israel.

In Bekaa, the rage scene was similar. Islamists demonstrated in Taalabaya holding the Syrian Revolution’s flags and a sign saying: “The US ambassador is a figure we don’t wish to see in Lebanon.”
