Nazem Khoury to LBCI: Mufti Qabbani will participate in Papal gathering

Environment Minister Nazem Khoury said Saturday that the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Lebanon is of great value and is welcomed by all political and religious leaders.

Khoury told LBCI that the Apostolic Exhortation is a confirmation of the Christians' role in the Middle East, stressing that the Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Mohammad Rachid Qabbani will participate today in the gathering with the Pope.
