Kanaan: finance committee's control over public funds in a decline

In a hearing, the Parliamentary Finance and Budget Committee received Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi's study on the general fiscal policy and annexed budgets of the year 2012.

In this context, MP Ibrahim Kanaan said: "the committee's control over public funds has decreased."

"We no longer have a clear vision regarding our financial policies", Kanaan concluded.
