Negotiations over the release of Lebanese abductees require more time

Exclusive sources told LBCI on Tuesday that negotiations over the release of the Lebanese abductees in Syria are ongoing “but require more time to be sorted out.”

While some sources said that Lebanon and Turkey are sparing no effort, other sources said that this case needs more time, adding “everything that have been said on the possible release of some of the abductees shortly, will not take place in the next 24 hours.”

According to LBCI’s correspondent in Turkey, Abu Ibrahim and Aazaz’s officials stressed that the Lebanese men are safe and sound, adding “the reported negotiations and mediations were not enough; the case requires more time.”
