March 14: Jafari's statement is a clear violation of Lebanon's sovereignty

March 14 General Secretariat said on Wednesday that Iran's Revolutionary Guard commander Mohammad Ali Jafari's statement about the presence of Quds Legion members in Lebanon and Syria is "a clear violation of Lebanon's sovereignty."

After its weekly meeting the secretariat announced its support of President Sleiman's latest position when he called Iran's ambassador to Lebanon asking for clarifications.

March 14 also urged the cabinet to respond to such statements and to seek the help of international forums for maintaining Lebanon's independence and sovereignty.
