Hariri supports Palestinian bid

Former PM Saad Hariri described the President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas’s address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York as courageous and historical, expressing his support for Abbas’ bid to end the struggle of Palestinians.

Hariri called on the Arab nations to unite in support of the Palestinian bid for full membership at the Security Council, in order to put the Palestinian issue back on the right track.

Hariri saw that Palestinian national unity is the corner stone of the Arab-Israeli conflict, urging Palestinian leaders to unify their ranks to face Israeli threats and protect domestic unity.
