Thief returns to recuperate wallet, gets arrested instead

An unknown person riding a motorcycle stole an envelope from a citizen's car near the Libano-Francais bank in Sin El Fil - Horsh Tabet on Monday September 1st.

The envelope contained the amount of $6000 and legal documents.

The robbed man then embarked on a chase using his vehicle, as the thief attempted to escape on-board a motorcycle.

The man then hit the thief with his car causing the thief to tumble to the asphalt ground losing both the envelope and his wallet.

The robber then returned to the scene to recuperate his wallet but the Sin El Fil gendarmerie patrol arrested him and confiscated his motorcycle instead.

Investigations revealed that the burglar H.S. is a Lebanese citizen and is a person of previous offenses.
