Public transportation fees increase

Public transportation fees increase

Minister of Public Works Michel Najjar held on Wednesday a joint press conference with Land Transport Union head Bassam Tleis in order to declare the new public transportation fees.

In his speech, Najjar said that the transportation sector is the vital artery that links between the Lebanese people.

“These fees take into consideration the interests of citizens and the sector,” Najjar.

This as the union declared that the service taxis are now for LL 3,000 in Beirut and and buses and vans are now for LL1,500.
