Ibrahim after meeting Patriarch Rai: I did not convey any messages for him

Lebanese General Security chief Major General Abbas Ibrahim paid a visit on Wednesday to Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai.

Following the meeting, Ibrahim said that his visit comes as part of his periodic visits to Rai, stressing that he did not convey any messages to him.

On another note, Ibrahim stressed his call for the extension of the mandate of the International peacekeepers in south Lebanon "in order to maintain stability along the borders."
