Institution shut down in Ashrafieh for violation of pharmaceutical law
The Minister of Public Health Ali Hassan Khalil has issued on Friday a resolution demanding the closure of Vigne Rouge located in Ashrafieh for violation of the laws of pharmacy.          
Upon this resolution, the Pharmaceutical Inspection Committee of Beirut closed on Friday the above mentioned institution and emphasized under subject of legal prosecution that it may not be reopened.         

Minister Khalil based his resolution number 1588/1 issued on the 3rd of October on decree number 5818 issued on the 13th of June 2011 and on the law of pharmacy profession as well as the law of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances - precursor number 673/16/3/2012 [and amendments].           

The Health Minister also based his resolution on the Pharmaceutical Inspection Committee that reported the owner of the institution.               

The owner allegedly does not hold a license to open and invest in Pharmaceutical substances from the Ministry of Public Health,in accordance with the Narcotics act.
