Assad discusses with El Hoss Syria upheavals

Syrian President Bashar Assad met with former Lebanese PM Salim El Hoss to discuss the Syrian upheavals and their repercussions on Lebanon and the broader region.

According to SANA news agency, El Hoss said that Syria has always played a pioneering, historical and political key role to preserve Arabism, which makes it a target.

“Any political movement that may occur in the region should be based on a nationalist ideology, the only protector of the unity of Arab communities”, El Hoss added.
