Sehnaoui: housing is ensured for those affected by Ashrafieh’s explosion

Minister of Telecommunications Nicolas Sehnaoui said on Sunday that shelter and support are ensured for the people affected by the explosion that rocked Ashrafieh on Friday.

Sehnaoui said in a press conference that on Monday the High Relief Commission (HRC) will pay for the accommodation of those affected and that the Cabinet and the PM will take necessary measures.

“This is not a political investment; we are ready to cooperate with other parties,” Sehnaoui stressed.

For his turn, the leader in the FPM Ziad Abes said that Alexander Hotel in Ashrafieh and Padova Hotel in Sin el-Fil are ready to receive the affected and mentioned the following number for any further assistance: 70-001319
