Two videos depicting the Achrafieh explosion the moment it happened

A video depicting the explosion that ripped through a crowded neighborhood in Achrafieh on Friday afternoon went viral across social media platforms. The blast targeted Major General Wissam Hassan who died alongside Sergeant Ahmad Sahyouni.

The blast left many of the neighborhoods residents homeless, and killed civilian Goergette Sarkissian.

This as another video depicted the second blast which may have resulted from the explosion of the fuel tank of one of the cars parked at the scene of the blast. To watch it, click here.
