Aoun: The opposition insists on “abnormal” electoral laws

FPM leader Michel Aoun said on Saturday during a gala in Toronto organized by the Lebanese diaspora in Canada, that political reform will be achieved soon through an electoral law that provides an adequate representation, stressing that the opponents are insisting on the “abnormal electoral laws” to keep a “fake” representation.

Aoun added that the party’s first concern at the moment is Lebanon’s stability and plans on maintaining it through the alliances the FPM is holding with the Lebanese parties.

Aoun reiterated the necessity of protecting the coexistence between Christians and Muslims in the Orient.
