Campaigns to clean tar off Tyre beach continue

Volunteers continued on Sunday the cleaning campaign of the coast of the southern city of Tyre after an oil spill deposited tar all over the coast.

Environmental associations and institutions, in cooperation with the municipality of Tyre, participated in the cleaning campaign to remove tar.

The participants emphasized that the campaign aims to preserve the beauty of the beach, which is "a national treasure that must be preserved."
