Gemayel: Cabinet’s achievements are insignificant

Kataeb Chief Amin Gemayel visited Bkerki on Sunday and met with Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Beshara Boutros Rai.

Gemayel stressed that “the Christians should support the Patriarch and President Sleiman during these difficult times to save Lebanon from the perils threatening its stability.”

Gemayel also congratulated Rai for his appointment as Cardinal and said that this position is an honor to Lebanon and the Lebanese, emphasizing that the country needs the Vatican’s support.

On the cabinet issue, Gemayel stated that “the current government’s achievements are insignificant, and therefore the formation of a new cabinet became a necessity.”
