Berri: Why aren’t the Arabs boycotting Israel instead of Syria?

Speaker Nabih Berri said that international resolutions reflect a double standard targeting Iran since the Islamic Republic supports the Palestinian cause, adding that the Israeli entity is banking on the division of Arab states to implement its projects in the region.

During the 5th International Conference to support the Palestinian Intifada held in Tehran, Berri called for holding Israel accountable for all crimes committed and boycotting states that move their embassies to occupied Jerusalem.

“Why are Arabs paying large sums to back the Syrian revolution and protests, and not using these funds to support the Palestinian cause? Why aren’t the Arabs boycotting Israel instead of Syria?”, Berri added.

Berri said that Lebanon is getting stronger and ready to face all Israeli threats, thanks to the resistance-army-people formula.
