Fahmi thanks Saudi Arabia for allowing stranded trucks to enter kingdom
Caretaker Minister of Interior Mohamad Fahmi thanked on Thursday King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman, and Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud for “their good humanitarian initiative in allowing Lebanese goods that were stranded at the Saudi borders and at the port of Jeddah to enter the Saudi Kingdom.”

Fahmi’s press office issued a statement in which it said that the minister “was not surprised by the Saudi positivity,” adding that he confident that “the Kingdom of Good” will not spare efforts to reconsider its latest stance, mainly at this crucial stage that Lebanon and its people is going through.

Last week, Saudi Arabia imposed a ban on produce coming from Lebanon after saying it had seized large quantities of Captagon stuffed inside pomegranates coming from Lebanon.
